Claudia Winkleman had a surprise in store for The Traitors contestants during Wednesday’s episode, after bringing back the first two stars she evicted.
The murder-mystery game show which has us hooked sees 22 contestants move into a Scottish castle, and take on challenges to try and win £120,000.
But, lurking between them are three Traitors, who will try and kill off one of the other group, The Faithful, but no one is sure who is who.
Before the game had even properly begun in the very first episode, Claudia was labelled ‘savage’ for banishing Kieran and Amos.
Having trained up to the Scottish Highlands together and met for the first time, all the contestants arrived at a scenic castle and were tasked with their first challenge when Claudia asked them all to place themselves in a line, ranked from most likely to win to least likely to win.
On one end, stood 23-year-old Imran, the youngest person in the world to achieve a PhD for his discipline, and 72-year-old Andrea, who had been escorted to the front of the line by Amos.

But Amos, 30, placed himself at the bottom of the bunch, alongside Kieran, 42, who walked to the end and said: ‘I thought I don’t want to be the c**ky, confident one at the end thinking you’ve got this, you’ll win hands down, so I thought I’d rock up at the end space.’
But none of the contestants saw the twist which followed.
‘Every decision you make, every single one, has a consequence, so you two, you think you’re going to lose,’ Claudia began to Amos and Kieran.
‘I am going to take you at your word, so I’m afraid it’s goodbye. I’d like you to leave the grounds immediately.’

The other contestants were left beyond stunned, as Claudie joked to them: ‘It’s called The Traitors.’
However, Claudia had been harbouring a little secret of her own, as in Wednesday’s episode, she brought Kieran and Amos back in another shock twist.
After an incredibly eerie challenge, in which several masked faces lurked in church pews as the contestants completed a challenge, two people unveiled their gold masks and revealed themselves to be the banished Traitors.
‘Team, you did really well in finding that gold from our lovely congregation members, shall we thank some of them? Stand up please,’ Claudia began.

And only two did, before they unveiled themselves.
Kieran and Amos were met with shouts of joy from their fellow contestants, as Claudia explained: ‘Kieran and Amos did not leave the game on day one. You can only leave the Traitors if you are murdered or banished.
‘I’ve had them hidden away separately and they are now coming back to play the game.’

‘I’m confused,’ Faye admitted to the camera, while Andrea said: ‘Such a surprise.’
‘For them to come back, at the same time it’s like “Yes,” but then it was like, it’s another two people I have to murder,’ Traitor Wilfred admitted.
But while viewers know they’re Faithful, the remaining contestants have sparked suspicion over whether Kieran and Amos have joined as Traitors.
The Traitors continues tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC One.
