Khloe Kardashian almost misses People’s Choice Award win for most relatable reason: ‘I’m out of breath’-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro

Khloe Kardashian made it to the stage by the skin of her teeth to accept her People’s Choice Award win.

The 38-year-old designer was at the star-studded ceremony with Kris Jenner and the pair had a successful night, taking home the gong for reality show of 2022.

However, it came time to appear on stage to collect their trophy, she was nowhere to be found, leaving her mom to stall until she was ready.

‘Khloe was sitting next to me one second ago,’ she said while picking up their award. ‘Oh, here she comes! Khloe, Khloe, Khloe!’

Of course, the Good American designer was missing in action for the most relatable reason, eventually telling the crowd: ‘I’m so sorry, I am out of breath. I was trying to fix my hair.

‘Thank you so, so much to everyone who voted for me, for our family. My mom probably voted for all of us.

‘I am so honored and happy to be here and just that we are able to live our lives in front of the TV and that you guys want to watch it.’

Kris added: ‘We definitely have one of the best jobs in the world and I get to work with my family.

‘It is because of you, the fans, that we’re here tonight. You guys always make us feel at home no matter where we end up and wherever we land. We’re so truly proud of our new show on Hulu.

‘We are working on season three right now and it couldn’t be better.’

Khloe was also on hand to collect the award for reality TV star of 2022, beating out competition from her sister, Kim Kardashian, Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, and a string of Real Housewives for the accolade.

The famous family have been a staple of the small screen and ended Keeping Up With The Kardashians last year after more than a decade.

They weren’t away from our screens for long and promptly announced a new Hulu series, with the Kardashians debuting earlier this year.

Despite being packed full of glimpses into their lives, fans have voiced their complaints over the new program, branding it ‘boring AF’ on social media.

The reaction led Kim to ask viewers what they wanted to see in future episodes, tweeting: ‘What do you guys wanna see for season 3 of The Kardashians? Do you guys like family stuff? Work stuff? Kids stuff? BTS of shoots? Family pranks?’

Followers replied in their droves, begging for the authenticity and intimate family to return instead of constant advertising of their individual brands.

All eyes will be on season three, which is currently filming now…

The Kardashians airs on Hulu in the US and is available to stream on Disney+ in the UK.
