Roman Kemp has unveiled his secret weapon to ensure England win the World Cup… his lucky pants.
In an exclusive interview with Guilty Pleasures, the radio and TV presenter shared that he’ll be sporting his charmed undies during the game against France on Saturday.
‘I’ve been wearing them throughout England’s World Cup thus far, and when I wear them, we win. That’s all you need to know,’ Roman, 29, teased.
Do they get washed? ‘No! Something my mum learnt a long time ago is, you never wash it if it’s lucky.’
What could possibly go wrong, or in this case, pong…

The epic line-up includes Stormzy, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Lewis Capaldi and Coldplay – and Roman is hoping he’ll remembers the artists’ names.
‘Getting people’s names wrong is terrifying and embarrassing. Once, on a live radio show, I kept calling Troye Sivan Shawn Mendes. That did not go down well,’ he laughed.
As for stories about this year’s A-list rider requests, the former I’m a Celeb star said they are bog-standard compared with the time he claims to have discovered that Ariana Grande travelled with her own loo lid.

‘We were in Koko, in Camden, and Ariana was doing a gig for us. I remember seeing her turn up, and a chap walking through with a big flight case-type thing, and everyone saying to me, “That’s her toilet seat,”’ he recalled.
‘I thought it was a joke, as you do, and everyone was like, “No, seriously. It’s gold.” I was reassured that it was not a joke, and that’s what she has. I’ve always said with rider requests, if you can get away with it, why not?’
With Christmas coming, Roman also revealed the worst present he received from dad, Martin.

‘A kite. Guess how old I was? 15. What 15-year-old boy, be honest, peak puberty, wants to receive a kite at Christmas? That was the worst. I’ve never been more offended over a gift,’ he balked.
‘It’s either that, or on my 16th birthday, my grandad bought me a pack of condoms. Which is thoughtful, but also, you know, strange!’
