Below Deck Mediterranean icon Hannah Ferrier warned new Adventure chief stewardess against joining show-Rishma Dosani-Entertainment – Metro
She clearly didn’t listen…
Below Deck Adventure star Faye Clarke has revealed that Hannah Ferrier warned her against taking the job.
Bravo recently set sail on a new spin-off of the boat-based franchise, introducing fans to the pure chaos of luxury super yachts in Norway – complete with a brand new cast and even more demanding guests.
Faye was recruited to lead the interior crew, made up of stews Oriana Schneps and Kasie Faddah, with tensions already simmering between the trio.
However, speaking to Metro.co.uk, she admitted that the Below Deck Mediterranean icon actually told her to steer clear of stepping on board.
When asked if she had reached out to any of her fellow Bravo chief stews before taking the job, she told us: ‘I really did. When I got the opportunity to come on Below Deck, I was so nervous and my gut was telling me not to do it. But I never really listen to things, I’m just like, “I’ll do it anyway”.
‘I reached out to Hannah on Instagram and I was quite shocked that she replied. She told me not to do it. She said it is harder than you’ll ever imagine, it’s worse than you’ll ever imagine, but it’s very addictive.

‘Obviously, she did many seasons so she kept going and she’s really happy now, so…
‘Actually, to be honest, her advice didn’t even change my mind. I still did it.’
Hannah steered the way on the Med spin-off for more than four years but was controversially sacked by Captain Sandy Yawn mid-way through season five – just moments before a new batch of charter guests were due.
Her axe came after bosun Malia White sent their boss a picture showing her prescription box of Valium and a CBD pen.

Captain Sandy instantly gave Hannah her marching orders – a move that left many unhappy – and has since defended her decision.
Although Faye has no regrets about not following her advice, she admitted that she has ‘cringed’ while watching the episodes back.
‘When I’m sitting and watching it with my family, I’m just literally shouting things like, “Oh my God, why did they show this? Why didn’t they show that? That happened and that happened…”,’ she continued.
‘Obviously so much happened that they literally don’t have enough time to air everything. A lot of the time we are laughing as well. That’s all I really wanted, I just wanted to entertain.
‘I was a bit upset because I was so, so busy that I felt my real personality didn’t actually come over. I am usually quite funny and jokey, and make light of everything, but there was just no time for that during the season on Below Deck Adventure.’
Faye insisted that she was so busy running around and doing her job that she didn’t think twice about how it would be playing out on our screens.
‘When something is so fast paced, as Below Deck Adventure, you don’t have time to realize that it’s drama. You just deal with it,’ she added.

‘Cutting toes open, people falling down the stairs, people being sick. guests not liking certain excursions or certain foods, and ordering 20 cocktails at a time… You don’t have time to think, “this is drama”, you just get on and do it.
‘It’s not until afterwards and you get in bed and you think, “Wow, I went to bed yesterday, now I’m [back] in bed. That was a quite traumatic day.”
‘Then you just know you’ve got six more weeks of it.’
Below Deck Adventure airs on Tuesday at 9pm ET on Bravo in the US and is available to stream on hayu in the UK the same day.
