Chris Hemsworth finally locates long-lost Logie Award nearly 20 years on as he reveals gong’s bizarre journey-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro

He’s now a Hollywood heavyweight but former Home and Away star Chris Hemsworth has admitted that up until recently, he had no idea where his first ever award had gone.

Back in 2005 Chris, 39, picked up a Silver Logie for most popular actor in Australia for playing Kim Hyde in the long-running soap.

However soon after, he managed to lose it.

But he’s now revealed that after a long and strange journey to places like two of his friend’s houses and even his parent’s toilet, it’s now safe and sound at his place—albeit in his kids’ toybox.

‘So my Logie, it is funny… I had no idea where it was,’ he told the Daily Telegraph in Australia.

‘My mate [personal trainer] Luke Zocchi, it was at his house.

‘It was at my parents’ house in the toilet at one point. It was in the living room at another mate’s house and then it miraculously turned up recently.’

Despite now having hold of it, he said the award was currently ‘in the toy box for the kids’.

Chris has three children with his wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, 46, India Rose, and twin sons, Sasha and Tristan.

In 2005, Chris also won most popular new male talent before once again winning most popular actor in 2006.

He played Kim from 2004 until 2007, before going on to appear in blockbuster films like Thor and The Avengers.

On Wednesday, Chris also received the trailblazer award at the 2022 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in Sydney.

During his speech he thanked his parents for instilling in him ‘a belief that anything was possible’.

‘When I said I wanted to be an actor, they said, “Go for it. The couch will be here if it ever fails”.’

But last month Chris said that he would be taking a break from acting after revealing his genetic predisposition for Alzheimer’s.

He made the discovery while working on National Geographic docuseries Limitless, doing a test that showed he carries two copies of the gene APOE4, which studies have linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
