Holly Willoughby took a painful-looking tumble as she larked about with co-star Fearne Cotton on the final ever episode of Celebrity Juice.

The This Morning star, who was sporting a smart pinstripe suit, ran into the bemused audience after the former Radio 1 DJ during the ITV2 programme.

It appears that Fearne, 41, was clutching onto something the Wylde Moon founder, 41, was after as she chased her into the seating area.

The best pals then seem to get into a tense wrestle, with Fearne desperately stretching her arm sky high so that Holly can’t reach.

However, the Happy Place podcaster’s efforts fail, with Holly running off with the object.

But Holly’s escape doesn’t exactly go to plan as she trips over the stairs on her return and is seen lying flat on her back as the team rush to help her.

Strictly’s Will Mellor and Emily Atack, who feature in the chaotic episode, are seen looking utterly shocked as they gasp at the debacle.

The jam-packed extravaganza will send the beloved show off, with the help of guests Chris Ramsey, Joey Essex, Laura Whitmore and new Love Island presenter Maya Jama.

It was announced in June that the ITV comedy panel show, presented by Leigh Francis’ outrageous alter ego Keith Lemon, was drawing to a close after 14 years on our screens.

Fans were devastated when it was revealed the plug had been pulled on the beloved programme, with Keith admitting he will feel ’emotional’ to film the final scenes.

He explained: ‘I’m really excited, but I think it might be emotional as well, because it’s been 14 years.

‘If Holly tears up I will, although she’s [not been on the show] for three years, so maybe she’s not bothered, but I think we all still get quite emotional about those sort of things.’

Keith had originally announced the news of the end of Celebrity Juice on Twitter, writing: ‘After 14 years, 26 series, 300 eps @CelebJuice is concluding later this year with two farewell specials.

‘Thank you so so much to everyone who watched, to the team captains, guests, crew and itv2.

‘It was the longest most fun party! I had a wonderful time. Big love x’

The show’s first team captains were Fearne and Holly with Fearne later replaced by Paddy McGuinness, and Mel B later taking his spot.

The Inbetweeners star Emily and Laura were both drafted in to replace the pair in 2020, with the former Love Island presenter returning to her slot just two weeks after giving birth.

Celebrity Juice: The Happy Ending will air on Thursday at 10pm on ITV2.
