Olivia Wilde’s stylist has denied claims the star wore a ‘revenge dress’ to the People’s Choice Awards following her split from musician Harry Styles.
The director and actress walked the award show carpet in a sheer Dior dress that instantly grabbed the attention of online users who speculated the star was sending a message to her former beau.
Claims made about the Don’t Worry Darling director’s ensemble followed reports that the couple had gone their separate ways after almost two years together.
Neither Harry, 28, nor Olivia, 38, have officially commented on the break-up replicating the private nature of their entire relationship.
The mother of two posed for a picture at the ceremony that would honour her for her work on the controversial Florence Pugh flick that led her to meet her now ex-boyfriend.
Going completely braless in the entirely see-through number, Olivia left little to the imagination as she stood on stage to collect her prize.

Numerous publications quickly dubbed the outfit choice a ‘revenge dress’ to the horror of the Hollywood star’s stylist Karla Welch.
Taking to her Instagram stories, dresser to the stars Karla slammed attempts to attribute the director’s stunning appearance to a man.
Above a picture of Olivia walking the carpet, she angrily penned: ‘What’s revenge? We dress for the f*****g matriarchy.’

The Dior moment wasn’t the first time the famous face decided to bare all for an awards show as she turned up to the Academy Museum Gala flaunting a similar number.
Freeing the nip once more, Olivia donned a glittering silver see-through Alexandre Vauthier gown that met the floor with a trim of pink feathers.
Speculation over the star’s red carpet motives followed the rumoured split that reportedly happened not long after Olivia was spotted dancing with her children at Harry’s concert.
Reasons for their parting still unknown, a source told People the former couple are still friends but that Olivia has found it ‘difficult’ being apart from the artist.
They also reportedly said that the actress was ‘disappointed’ by the way it all unfolded as she believed they could tackle any relationship roadblocks.
Metro.co.uk contacted Olivia’s reps for comment.
