The new season of Fortnite’s only just started and there’re rumblings of a Dead Space crossover to promote the remake.
There are already several new guest characters that have been signed up to shoot people and floss in Fortnite whether it suits them or not.
The current season’s battle pass contains Doom Slayer from Bethesda’s Doom games, with Marvel’s Hulk recently arriving in the in-game store, and The Witcher’s Geralt slated to arrive in the near future.
Now, you can apparently add Dead Space’s Isaac Clark to that list as he’s rumoured to arrive as part of a cross-promotion for the upcoming remake.
The alleged details are slim, but it’s believed that Epic Games will add a new skin based on Dead Space’s protagonist to Fortnite for players to purchase.
Apparently, the collaboration is scheduled for January 23, which is just four days before the Dead Space remake launches.
The claim comes from noted insider Tom Henderson via Insider Gaming. While none of the regular Fortnite leakers and dataminers have made similar claims, Henderson has regularly proven accurate in the past.
Just recently, he said that Monster Hunter Rise would receive a PlayStation and Xbox port, which Capcom admitted to just a day or so later.
From the sound of it, the Dead Space crossover will be part of a wider space themed collaboration, which does make sense considering Fortnite’s new map is an island floating in outer space.

There has been chatter of a full-fledged Doctor Who crossover as well, which was claimed by both FNBRIntel and ShiinaBR, two regular Fortnite leakers. Since then, however, their initial claims seem to have been deleted from Twitter.
Fortnite did add the TARDIS and a Doctor Who themed island earlier this year, but the titular character was completely absent. We imagine there’d be some difficulty making them a playable skin given the character’s aversion to guns in the show.
Fortnite is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
