I’m a size 22 and my friend’s a 10, we tried on loads of the same clothes to show they look on different bodies

SOMETIMES you never really know how something will look till you try it on.

How something looks on the model probably isn’t going to reflect how it will look on you, especially if you aren’t the same size.

But is there really a big difference between how clothes look on people with different sizes?

Poppy is a plus size fashion influencer.

In a recent video Poppy and her friend Nina decided to do a size comparison haul.

Testing on clothes from Asos.

Poppy is a size 22 and her friend Nina is a size 10.

First they tried a curve ruched mesh printed midi skirt in green and blue which is priced at £30 from Asos.

They paired this with curve textured mesh long sleeve ruched funnel neck top in black from which is £33.

Going for a festive look the pair tried the Daisy Street plus oversized jumper in cute print which is priced at £27.

Next the pair went for matching patterns with Poppy trying the Daisy Street plus open back mini dress in checkerboard velvet plisse which is £33.

Poppy’s size 10 friend Nina tried a top and pant suit with the same pattern.

The long sleeve crop top is £21.50 and then high waisted trousers are £24.

They are both currently on sale.

Lastly Poppy and her friend tried the Asos curve pleated blouson sleeve midi dress with a belt detail in black.

This dress costs £64.

Poppy said she was not happy with the cost of this dress.

She said: “Also if you look at the straight size version and the curve version of that last black dress on Asos the small version is £40 and the plus size version is £64.”

Poppy said: “Obviously I had the two dresses here with me now, they are the exact same dress. I just took off the belt and used my belt for it because the belt was too big”

She continued: “£24 more expensive, that is absolutely outrageous! Asos sort yourselves out.”

Viewers loved Poppy’s try on haul

One commenter said: “You both look fab. You should do more of these joint hauls. I love seeing clothes on people rather than on the sites page.”

Another commenter said: “You don’t look that different size wise it’s weird.”
