The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 cast clearly meant it when they said they wanted to remain friends.

Now, if you’d told us this time last year that Matt Hancock would be photographed at a Seann Walsh gig and hanging out with Boy George, we probably wouldn’t have believed you.

But times have changed, and the politician rocked up to the comic’s show with girlfriend Gina Coladangelo to show his support.

Hancock, 44, and Walsh, 37, became pals during their time Down Under, having entered the jungle together as late arrivals.

All smiles at The Soho Theatre in London, Hancock proved that friendship is still going strong back on home soil.

Cutting a casual figure in denim jeans and a bomber jacket, the former health secretary held hands with his other half upon exiting the venue.

Meanwhile, Coladangelo stood out in a bold leopard print fur coat, which will have kept her toasty amid the December cold.

Following the stand-up gig, Walsh shared a snap to Instagram with the Karma Chamelon singer and Tory MP, as they enjoyed a drink.

Noting how mad the whole thing is, he captioned the post: ‘Campmates reunited.🌴❤️ This will never be normal!!!  Thanks to all that came to the show tonight ✌️’.

Hancock – who is apparently a TikToker now – also shared a video with his new pals, joking: ‘This is the first day of the rest of my life!’, as he steps away from politics and ventures down a new career path.

Hancock started an affair with Coladangelo during the pandemic and, when it was exposed, forced him to resign as the pair were pictured breaking his own government’s Covid-19 restrictions.

Coladangelo was hired as Hancock’s aide during his tenure as health minister and, at the time their affair began, she was also married to Oliver Tress, who currently owns fashion retail business Oliver Bonas.

She too was forced to resign from her position upon Hancock’s resignation.

Hilarious evening watching @seannwalsh’s brilliant show ‘Seann Walsh Is Dead. Happy Now?’ Funny who you bump into!

It’s believed they have known each other for some time, since they worked together on student radio at Oxford University.

Hancock’s girlfriend flew out to Australia to greet him on the famous I’m A Celebrity bridge when he finished in third place this series, narrowly missing out on becoming King of the Jungle.

Following his stint on the ITV reality show – which was won by Lioness Jill Scott – the cast have had plenty to say about Hancock.

In fact, in his show Seann Walsh: Is Dead, Happy Now?, Walsh actually calls the Tory a strong expletive, which might have made for uncomfortable viewing while he was in the audience.

Recalling how he felt in the aftermath of the ‘Strictly scandal’, where he was caught kissing his professional dance partner Katya Jones in 2018, the comic asked the audience if they ever had ‘an entire country think you’re a c***?’.

‘It’s quite a lot to take. It’s quite difficult when an entire country gets together and decide you’re a c***,’ he added, according to reports in The Sun.

‘You don’t really know how to deal with it.

‘Unless of course, you’re Matt Hancock, and you just come third in the jungle.’
