The trendy fashionista, better known to her fans as Mona (@artofstylenyc) on TikTok, explained she had found the perfect shirt with feather sleeves.

But the hefty price – more than £120 – was not appealing, so she decided to look for alternatives online.

This, she said in the video, is when she found feather slap bracelets on the popular retailing site that cost her less than a fiver.

Praising the product, the US-based fashion lover said: ”They’re so cool because you can add them to any shirt.

”You can remove them and add them to as many shirts and sweaters as you like.”

Not only is this must-have accessory inexpensive, it’s also perfect for Christmas and the party season ahead, and comes in a range of colours.

Whether you want to stick to the more classic black and white or try something new, like bright blue or fiery red, there’s a colour for everyone.

Social media users flocked to comments to thank Mona for the easy fashion hack and reminisce about their childhood, with one writing: ”kids rocked those in the 80s.”

Speaking of fashion tips for the festive season, recently one woman left the internet divided after sharing a bloat-friendly dress hack.

Posting on TikTok, Megan Beaudry (@megbeaudry), said: “THIS IS A GAME CHANGER. Never sucking in at an event ever again.”

In her video, she described the long-sleeved rose-print dress she was wearing: “So this dress… it’s a nice dress, nice and tight,” she said of the .

“It’s a maternity dress!” she laughed.

Pulling out the material on her stomach, she continued: “Look, look at how much room!

“It’s the comfiest dress.

And concluding her video, Megan said: “So yes, order maternity dresses even if you’re not pregnant.

Meg had purchased the dress for a wedding, but after someone revealed they do the same at Christmas, she said: “That is VERY smart. I shall be doing the same.”

Social media users have been left divided over the hack.

Many have hailed Megan a “genius” , with one gushing: “This is an excellent idea.”

But not everybody was loving the idea, with some in the comments claiming it will make shopping more difficult for pregnant women.
