I’m a size 10 & tried on Oh Polly! dresses for the party season – here’s how they looked on me compared to a model

WITH carefully edited photos and oftentimes false advertising, shopping online can be a nightmare, especially when it comes to fashion.

To show how some items look in person, one style lover, Grace Tutty, from the UK, decided to order viral dresses from Oh Polly! and give her honest review on TikTok.

We’re seriously obsessed with how stunning the 20-year-old looked in all the dressesTikTok/@gracetutty

The 20-year-old, who claims to be a UK size 10, bagged three stunning dresses for the party season and then compared what they looked like on her versus the model online.

First up in the try-on shopping haul was a figure-hugging black halterneck dress, a sexy number she decided to keep.

Just like the model, Grace looked absolutely stunning in the £52 dress that came with a high split on the side.

Available in blush and ivory, this garment comes in a range of sizes and will fit anyone who’s between size 4 and size 18.

The young woman then changed into another black dress – this time, it was a bandeau maxi dress that can also be bagged in brown and ivory.

Posing with a pearl necklace, the brunette left viewers stunned by her beauty, as the material hugged her in all the right places.

Sharing tips to fellow fashionistas, Grace warned: ”The first two dresses are quite tight on my thighs so maybe size up depending on if you’ve got bigger thighs / boobs.”

Last up in the now-viral video was a cute blue satin mini dress with detailing on the waistline.

But despite looking amazing, Grace revealed that the material felt cheap and not worth the money, and just like the previous number, this too will be returned.

TikTok fans then dashed to comments, with one person writing: ”Oh Polly stuff is so nice.

”I got the jumpsuit and the double lined material smooths the body and is SO flattering.”

A second fan added: ”Girl you look bomb in all of them.”

Someone shared their rather unfortunate experience with the popular fast fashion retailer, commenting: ”sadly i ordered a dress from them and the quality was terrible and it had loose threads and a weird stain.”

”ive been influenced running to their website,” a fellow fashionista couldn’t wait to do some shopping.

If Oh Polly! is not you go-to, fear not – one style fan recently tried on outfits from Shein to see how they fit compared to the models online.

Croia, who goes by @croiafitzpatrick on TikTok shared the clips to the popular social media platform.

In the first clip, she tried on a stunning grey blazer.

She then followed up with a gorgeous pink tracksuit perfect for the colder months.

After that she tried on a black unitard with a zipper.

And for more loungewear, she then showed off a comfortable looking white hoodie as well as some leopard print leggings.

People rushed to the comments to talk about the various outfits.

One person said: “The black jumpsuit on you is gorgeous!”

Another wrote: “Love the second look”, while a third added: “They all look fab on you”.

Grace wasn’t so sure about this dress, claiming the material felt cheap and certainly not worth the hefty price tagTikTok/@gracetutty
