WWE superstar Shotzi will be out for six weeks after suffering a broken hand.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, who is yet to hold singles gold in the company, confirmed the injury as she shared her X-ray on social media while giving a timeframe for her return.

Captioning the image, she simply tweeted: ‘6weeks @QoSBaszler @RondaRousey’, alongside a kiss emoji.

Although it’s not clear exactly when she suffered the injury, she was written off TV on this week’s SmackDown as she was attacked in the car park by Baszler and Rousey.

The villainous duo slammed her hand in a car door which ruled her out of her scheduled match with the Queen of Spades on Friday night’s show.

Instead, Rousey and Baszler found themselves in tag team action against Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox, with the fan favourites picking up a win over the SmackDown Women’s Champion and her friend.

Fans have rallied behind Shotzi after her post confirming the injury, with many followers sending messages of support.

‘Oh no! 6 weeks without you? Damn. But at least you’ll be back in time for the Royal Rumble,’ wrote one fan trying to look on the bright side.

‘Every time you get put down you get back up 10x stronger. Always remember the WWE universe is with you. Wish you a speedy recovery,’ tweeted another.

A third fan wrote: ‘Hope you have a speedy recovery,’ while a fourth person added: ‘Wow….. prayers for speedy recovery. Can’t wait till you come back.’

Shotzi isn’t the only star out for six weeks, with Raw superstar Matt Riddle also written off TV as he was stretchered out after his match on Monday night’s weekly show.

Teaming with Kevin Owens, the Original Bro came up short against The Usos, and found himself on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown from their young brother Solo Sikoa.

WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
