It looks like Adin Ross won’t be sitting down with Kanye West any time soon, as he realises the dangers of platforming the rapper.
Not long ago, Twitch streamer Adin Ross announced he would be interviewing controversial rapper Kanye West during one of his broadcasts.
Many of his viewers were shocked by his decision to give West a platform, as the rapper has made a series of antisemitic remarks, and Ross grew up in a Jewish family.
The streamer is no stranger to having controversial personalities on his streams, as he has also hosted Andrew Tate in the past. Though this time it looks like the streamer had a change of heart at the last minute.
During a recent stream, Ross revealed that West won’t be appearing on his channel any time soon.
He went on to explain that he can’t have his platform used to ‘spread hate’ or ‘insult and hurt’ people.
Many viewers accused Ross of being scared to have West join him, likely due to the rapper storming out of interviews when he experiences any kind of pushback.
Ross said he understood where his chatters were coming from, but the backlash didn’t seem to change his mind.
‘It would be my biggest dream ever, but sometimes it’s not worth it,’ the streamer said.
When Ross first announced his plans to sit down with West, the response wasn’t as positive as he’d hoped.
Besides many people accusing him of being a ‘clout chaser,’ others questioned whether Ross would manage to actually have a deep and meaningful conversation with the rapper.

As more skilled interviewers have tried and failed, it’s unlikely that Ross’s livestream would’ve fared any better.
Some viewers called for Twitch streamer Hasanabi to co-host the interview with Ross, as he often comments on current affairs and politics and doesn’t shy away from criticising the rapper’s views.
However, just watching the interview West gave to far right commentator Gavin McInnes on the Censored.TV, got Hasanabi banned on Twitch for a few days.
Hasanabi has revealed that he’d have West on his podcast ‘in a heartbeat’, though, given the opportunity.
