Kate Chastain is pregnant with her first child.

The Below Deck icon, who served as chief stewardess for six years, confirmed her happy news on Instagram, sharing the first photo of her growing baby bump.

Alongside the sweet snap, the 39-year-old penned: ‘I’m already planning so many birthday theme parties for you.’

She has not shed light on who the father of her bundle of joy is.

Fellow Below Deck star – and current chief stew – Fraser Olender was among the first to share warm wishes to the mom-to-be.

‘Eeeeek the news is out!! Sooooo excited for you my angel,’ he commented below the snap.

Sailing Yacht star Alli Dore replied: ‘Oh my god I’m so happy for you!!! You’ll be an amazing mum.’

As Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge simply added: ‘Congratulations.’

Kate also opened up about her news to People Magazine, explaining that she will be giving birth to the little one in May, 2023.

‘I am absolutely thrilled to become a mother,’ she told the publication.

‘It’s something I’ve always hoped for so this is truly a dream come true!’

She came to fame on season two of Below Deck and soon became a firm fan favorite, also growing a close bond with Captain Lee.

Kate led the interior crew for six series before making her exit in February 2020, moving over to Bravo’s Chat Room and hosting Galley Talk.

As well as all this, she will be taking part on new Peacock competition, The Traitors, which will be airing at the beginning of next year – which is why she decided to share her baby joy with fans.

‘This is such a new and special experience, so I’m really being protective of what I share publicly,’ she added to People. ‘But with new episodes of Below Deck Galley Talk about to air on Bravo after Christmas and The Traitors premiering on Peacock on Jan. 12, 2023, there’s just no hiding my baby bump any longer!’
