Loose Women’s Linda Robson has revealed she’s pretty much got her whole funeral planned, and knows exactly what she wants.
The 64-year-old was joined by Janet Street-Porter, Coleen Nolan and Christine Lampard when the discussion was brought up, after the panellists watched clips of EastEnders’ special of Dot Branning (June Brown)’s funeral.
‘Funerals have always been terribly things, haven’t they, like upsetting things, and I think they should be a celebration of a person’s life,’ Linda began.
‘When I go, I’m 64 now so you do start thinking about it, I want on my tomb stone, “Here lies potty mouth Nanny Linda”, that’s what I’m known on this programme.
‘I also want I Have The Time of My Life to be played there because I want something uplifting.’
She didn’t stop there, continuing to list: ‘I also want to be cremated because Lauren’s [Linda’s daughter] dad was cremated last year and they’re wearing him in a little star around his neck.
‘So I’ll have the ashes, so I’ll be with them always.’

She added: ‘Also, when we go, we’ll always be around still because you can Google us, and we’ll be in the future, like a hundred years time, our great, great, great grandchildren will say, “Oh look, that was my nan!”‘
This comes after Linda revealed that she actually keeps ashes in her knicker drawer, along with ‘everything that’s precious’ to her, and her underwear too.
The Birds of a Feather actress admitted: ‘I’ve got lots of people and animals’ ashes in my knicker drawer.’

‘I’ve got little bags of ashes from George and from Ernie [her late dogs] and from other members of the family,’ she continued.
Nadia Sawalha (like the rest of us) was baffled, questioning: ‘Seriously?! You keep your ashes is in your knicker drawer?’
‘They’re in little packets,’ Linda added, saying the packets are named with labels to stop her getting ‘the ashes mixed up.’

Next to the ashes, Linda keeps precious items from her children: ‘The little bracelets when they’re born, the first lock of their hair, their teeth…’
While Kaye Adams said it was ‘lovely’, she did question ‘Why your knicker drawer?’ to which Linda replied: ‘No one goes to that drawer, it’s all my little special things.’
Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
