Billie Eilish’s image was reportedly used as the subject of ‘deepfake pornography’ on TikTok in a clip that garnered millions of views.
Users came across a video featuring the 20-year-old’s face superimposed on sexually exaggerated bodies on their For You page – the social network’s main feed.
The photo gallery slideshow was supposedly seen by 11million people before TikTok removed the content for violating rules around sexual harassment as laid out in their community guidelines.
Despite the app prohibiting all content that is overly sexualised, the video that appeared to utilise self-generated AI to recreate a version of the Your Power singer allegedly made it onto phone screens for four days.
TikTok claim that before the video was removed, its content was detected and then marked as ineligible for their feed for showing overtly sexualised material.
A spokesperson for the company said: ‘This content violates our Community Guidelines, which clearly states that we do not allow content which alters or morphs an image of another individual to portray or imply sexual suggestiveness.’

According to VICE World News, apps used to generate AI edits have become increasingly popular with Instagram, Twitter and TikTok users as avatars based on individual selfies are appearing everywhere.
Boasting over 76,000 followers, the account that posted the altered version of Billie was linked to an Instagram account that also shared the images and was followed by around 2k people.
This specific user additionally offered ‘uncensored images’ of the star for a price of $20 (£16.24) via Instagram stories.

Billie told Teen Vogue in 2019 the reasons behind her choice to cover her frame with baggy clothing: ‘Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath.
‘Nobody can be like, “she’s slim-thick,” “she’s not slim-thick”, “she’s got a flat ass,” “she’s got a fat ass.”
‘No one can say any of that because they don’t know.’
Amid the sharing of fake explicit sexual depictions of her, the young chart topper recently revealed in a BBC interview the traumatic meaning behind her hit Your Power.
She admitted the song speaks about ‘the man who abused his power when he was with me, how much trauma he has caused me, physically and emotionally’.
Billie isn’t the only celebrity to have been overly sexualised by AI creations.
Megan Fox spoke out after cartoon-like avatars were released of her that she deemed were ‘sexual’.
The actress asked her social media followers: ‘Were everyone’s avatars equally as sexual? Like, why are most of mine naked?’
In this case she acknowledged the fact her AI replicas were based off raunchy snaps she had posted herself and hit back at claims she was unaware of the racy content she regularly uploaded.
