Strictly Come Dancing’s Hamza Yassin is feeling lighter on his feet after shedding two-stone in weight since taking part in the show.

‘I’ve lost 13 kilos… I feel so much happier, fitter and healthier, and I hope I can keep it going,’ he told Guilty Pleasures.

‘I’ve lost four or five inches across my waist. It’s nuts. This suit that was tailor-made at the beginning… now I’m wearing a belt to tighten everything.’

Documentary-maker Hamza, 32, admitted he was surprised to have made it through to the final, airing tomorrow at 7.15pm on BBC One.

‘I still don’t think I can dance,’ he said, before adding that having dyslexia had helped him crack the routines with professional partner Jowita Przystal.

‘She will say, “Go on the bit where it says [this word]” but I don’t know… I rely on 3D thinking of where we need to be and stuff, and that’s perfect.’

Win or lose, fan favourite Hamza plans to keeeeep dancing – but ‘just not nine hours a day!’ he quipped.
