Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ mom has shared a devastating message, following his death.
The dancer, most known for his beloved stint on the Ellen DeGeneres show, died by suicide at the age of 40, earlier this week.
In the wake of the news, stars from around Hollywood have spoken out in tribute, with Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Obama and Tyler Perry among them.
In a heartbreaking post on Instagram, the late performer’s mother, Connie Boss Alexander, took a moment to thank those who had reached out over her loss.
‘Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers and encouragement,’ she wrote on her Story, via Page Six.
‘Please know I see all the messages, texts, posts and the phone calls.

‘I can’t use words right now. Please know I will reach out when I can.’
She directed the end of the message to her son, adding: ‘Stephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond.’

Boss, who previously appeared on So You Think You Can Dance? and Magic Mike, died earlier this week – his wife, Allison Holker, confirmed the news on social media.
She told fans of how her husband – dad to children Weslie, Maddox and Zaia – ‘lit up every room he stepped into’.
Ellen DeGeneres, who worked beside the star for nearly a decade, remembered her close friend shortly after.
Posting a photo of the pair embracing on set, the presenter wrote: ‘I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light.
‘He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him.
‘Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.’

In a further post, she added: ‘Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch.
‘He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brought joy to yours too.
‘I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite moments with him. If you want to you can also share yours. #ILovetWitch.’
