Alex Scott and Gary Lineker looked sensational as they led the glitzy red carpet arrivals at this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards in Manchester.
Sports presenter Scott, 38, who was among the pundits to share their insight at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, looked a vision in a black halterneck dress complete with embellished nude heels.
She appeared in high spirts as she made her grand entrance and flashed a huge grin at the cameras while also waving with both hands.
Scott also delighted in joining Match of the Day host Lineker, 62, for a couple of photos, who flashed a big grin as he posed alongside Gaby Logan, 49, and Clare Balding, 51.
Elsewhere, Strictly Come Dancing queen Ellie Simmonds, 28, who appeared on this year’s series with Nikita Kuzmin, 24, oozed festive glam in a velvet green dress and black heels.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jill Scott, 35, was also in attendance and sported a gorgeous blue gown.
She joined her fellow Lionesses, Mary Earps, 29, Lauren Hemp, 22, and Ellen White, 33, on the carpet.
Rebecca Adlington was in the Christmas party spirit as she rocked the red carpet in a grey sequined dress with glitzy sheer sleeves.
The Olympic gold medallist, 33, accessorised her look with a diamante clutch bag and cascading silver earrings.

England star Beth Mead leads the six nominees for the grand title of the night after winning the Golden Boot and being named player of the tournament during England’s Euro 2022 victory in the summer.
The 27-year-old is joined on the shortlist by England cricket captain Ben Stokes, snooker star Ronnie O’Sullivan, gymnast Jessica Gadirova, curler Eve Muirhead and runner Jake Wightman.

Stokes won the award in 2019 and is in the running again after overseeing Test series wins over New Zealand, South Africa and Pakistan, while also playing a starring role in England’s T20 World Cup victory.
O’Sullivan, 47, is also tipped for the gong for the first time after equalling Stephen Hendry’s record by winning a seventh World Snooker Championship.

The winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year will be announced during the live show on BBC One this evening.
It has already been announced that eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt will receive the Lifetime Achievement award while Argentina captain Lionel Messi is the World Sport Star of the Year after leading his country to victory at the World Cup 2022.
