Game of the Year winner Elden Ring is finally cheaper to buy as part of a two-week PlayStation sale, alongside thousands of other games.
With Christmas right around the corner, Sony has launched a winter sale on its PlayStation Store. In what Sony calls its biggest promotion of the year, thousands of games and DLC are currently up to 75% off.
This includes some prominent first party exclusives, like Horizon Forbidden West and The Last Of Us (but no God Of War Ragnarök, unsurprisingly). However, the highlight of the whole sale is easily FromSoftware’s Elden Ring.
While there were a couple of discounts on the game during Black Friday, they were negligible at best. This is the first proper reduction the game has seen since its February launch, with the game costing £35 in Sony’s sale.
As a reminder, Elden Ring won Game of the Year at both The Game Awards and the Golden Joystick Awards, so this is your best (or rather cheapest) opportunity to see why it’s so beloved.
Other highlights include Far Cry 6 Gold Edition, which is now just over £28 as opposed to £84.99, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Deluxe Edition, which is down from £55 to £8.24. Perfect timing considering its sequel launches in just a few months.
The sale lasts for a couple of weeks until January 6, although Sony notes that some games will leave the promotion beforehand. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, for example, is only reduced until January 4.
You can find a full list of games on the PlayStation Blog, but we’ve compiled the best ones we could spot as well as links to their respective listings on the PlayStation Store.
