Emily Ratajkowski has documented her foray into online dating, after joining a ‘mysterious, unnamed’ dating app – but shared that she felt it was ‘too white’ and won’t hold her ‘lady crush’.
The model, actress, author and activist recalled signing up while holding a glass of wine, following her split from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, and while she didn’t specify which one she joined it seems this particular one isn’t for her.
The 31-year-old model said: ‘I was like, “F*** it”. I was feeling defiant because so many people told me not to get it.’
She also told how she quickly got ‘a few direct requests from women’ which she found ‘exciting’.
But Emily added on her podcast High Low with EmRata: ‘I feel like this app is a little bit white. It’s very white and it feels like a very particular man and, honestly, a very particular type of woman, so I don’t think I’m gonna meet my lady crush on here.’
Still, we can only imagine people now flocking to every dating app known to man in order to hopefully match with the star.

Emily’s online dating jaunt comes after she was recently linked with former Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, 29, with the pair spotted out together several times including in November at a New York Knicks versus Memphis Grizzlies game.
The mum-of-one is evidently living her best life after she was also seen on Wednesday kissing artist Jack Green outside her New York City apartment, following recent dates with 35-year-old DJ Orazio Rispo, the son of a property tycoon.
Emily split with Sebastian Bear-McClard, 34, with whom she shares 21-month-old son Sylvester Apollo Bear earlier this year and recently spoke of finding a ‘girl crush’ on an app after appearing to share she was bisexual as part of a TikTok green couch trend.
A voiceover on a clip on the model’s account on the platform said at the time: ‘If you identify as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?’
Emily’s video then panned over her green velvet sofa and back to her smiling face.
She later added to Harper’s Bazaar magazine she no longer believes in ‘straight people’ and said she thinks ‘sexuality is on a sliding scale’.
