The Repair Shop viewers were left in bits during the Christmas special which aired on Monday night.
A family was given the ultimate gift of new memories with their deceased family member, as the team were able to repair a broken projector that held decades-long clips.
Beloved mother, grandmother and sister Elizabeth had died from breast cancer years earlier, and the family brought a broken projector to the Repair Shop team in the hopes they could bring back golden memories.
Elizabeth’s two sisters, daughter and granddaughter – who was very young when she died – were left in pieces as the projector was brought back to life, bringing with it a long-lost clip of Elizabeth on Christmas day.
In the clip, which aired on Monday night, a young Elizabeth celebrated Christmass with her family, herself only a teenager at the time.
Her daughter, Vicky, had never got to see the footage before, and one of Elizabeth’s sites explained there were plenty of photographs of her around the house but to be able t watch her move would be ‘completely different.’

‘Being able to see mum again, mum moving,’ Vicky said, already emotional before the clip began – and the tears began flowing as Elizabeth walked in the door in the soundless clip.
The family were far from the only one in tears, as viewers watching from home admitted they were in pieces watching the reunion after 30 years.
‘A daughter getting to see her mum again, was a very special moment. I know I’d do anything to have video footage of my mum – especially her at #Christmas,’ one emotional viewer wrote on Twitter.
Another said the moment was ‘breaking my heart,’ while one simply shared a crying emoji with the words: ‘Omfg the projector.’
‘I’m in bits at the cine film,’ one fan wrote, and another said: ‘How beautiful waas that Christmas film for the family.’
After watching the decades-old video of her mother, Vicky admitted she ‘cant really find the words’ to say what it meant to her.
‘When she opened the door, it was like she was back.’
Her granddaughter also became emotional, explainign: ‘I don’t have any memories with Grandma. I was too young. It was really emotional.’

Earlier in the year, King Charles -still the Prince of Wales at the time it was recorded – appeared in a special episode of the Repair Shop, where he became visibly moved to hear chimes ring out on a restored clock.
As he entered The Repair Shop barn, he asked horologist Steve Fletcher: ‘Have you got the bells working again? The suspense is killing me.’
And following the revelation that they were back, the royal paused, muttering: ‘Oh my, look at that.
