Frogs and sky jellies are hard to spot in Fortnite and you’ll need them to clear two different quests this week.

Another set of quests has been added to Fortnite and majority of them task you with finding some rare wildlife that roams the Asteria map.

Creatures like wolves and boars are easy to spot as they’re quite big, but others like frogs and sky jellies are more elusive.

This makes two of week 4’s quest a bit more challenging than usual, as you’re called to hunt frogs and jump on sky jellies, to get a nice XP boost.

Like slurp bouncer mushrooms, jumping on sky jellies will reward you with 20 health and 20 shield points which can come in handy if your stats are running low and you need a quick fix.

Once eliminated, these creatures will turn purple, fall to the ground, then explode like shockwave grenades.

Unfortunately, sky jellies don’t spawn in a set location on the Asteria map, and they usually appear at the start of the game.

However, we’ve found a few spots where they tend to appear in groups often, so you might get lucky if you pay them a visit.

Here are some spots where sky jellies are often encountered:

On the path near King’s Launch northwest of the Citadel

Around the small lake between Shore Shack and Meadow Mansion

Around the small lake at Frenzy Fields

Around the small lake south of Faulty Splits

To clear the quest, you’ll need to jump on 50 sky jellies, which will eventually grant you 16,000 XP.

Where to find frogs in Fortnite

Frogs are even smaller than sky jellies in Fortnite, but what makes them harder to catch is that they’re constantly hopping around.

Upon defeat frogs drop a meat consumable, which restores 20 health points.

Although this week’s quest is not super hard, it can feel aggravating, as you’ll need to hunt frogs from 5 metres or less to clear it.

Frogs tend to flee as soon as you come near them, so you’ll either need to hide and ambush one, or keep chasing it until you hit it with your pickaxe.

Like sky jellies, there isn’t a set location where you can find frogs, but they love to hang around water.

Here are some spots where frogs seem to spawn often:

Near the riverbanks around Anvil Square

Along the river from the Autumnwood to Pleasant Passage

In the swamps and bogs around Lute Lake, The Citadel, and Exile Isle

You should also keep an eye out for frogs when you are exploring the forests of Asteria. However, locating them in the woods might be challenging since they tend to hide in tall grass and bushes.

To clear the second quest, you only need to hunt one frog, and you’ll be able to collect another 16,000 XP.
