Coleen Nolan sets record straight on why Stacey Solomon’s pregnancy wasn’t mentioned on Loose Women-Sabrina Barr-Entertainment – Metro

Coleen Nolan has addressed why Stacey Solomon’s pregnancy didn’t receive a mention on the latest episode of Loose Women… and there’s a very simple reason why.

Yesterday, Stacey, 33, announced the very exciting news that she’s pregnant and expecting her third child with husband Joe Swash, 40.

The fan-favourite TV personality has two older sons from other relationships, while Joe also has another son with an ex-partner.

Stacey shared a sweet video of her surprising her husband with the news, presenting him with her positive pregnancy test as he exclaimed in excitement: ‘This is the best news bubba.’

The former X-Factor singer has received a flood of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrity friends alike, including her Loose Women co-star Coleen.

‘Another pickle already?! The Cottage is going to need an extension at this rate!’ the 57-year-old tweeted.

‘But seriously, massive congratulations @StaceySolomon & @realjoeswash ❤️❤️ Couldn’t be happier for you both.’

Coleen then revealed that some had questioned why Thursday’s edition of Loose Women – which aired on ITV a day after Stacey’s announcement – failed to bring up Stacey’s news.

‘PS, to everyone who’ve tweeted in wondering why it wasn’t mentioned on today’s @loosewomen, it’s because the episodes between Christmas and New Years were pre-recorded,’ she clarified.

‘No big secret, the pre-records were announced in the Christmas lineup!’

Following Stacey’s announcement, Rylan Clark jokingly commented on Instagram: ‘Can I buy this one please xxx CONGRATS you lovely pair xxxx.’

‘I’m sobbing, congratulations guys 😍😍😍😍,’ added reality star Vicky Pattison, while singer Alexandra Burke wrote: ‘Congrats babe!!!!!! You two are just 😍😍😍!!!! Xxxx.’

Stacey thanked everyone for their kind remarks, adding in a follow-up comment: ‘Thank you for all of these messages they’re so so lovely.’

She also added on her Instagram Story: ‘Your messages are so beautiful. I have sooooo much to catch up with you all… I’m just trying to enjoy this crazy bit between Xmas and NY where no one knows what day it is with all the pickles…’

She continued: ‘Honestly you’re all so bloody sweet and kind and I can’t wait to come on here and tell you EVERYTHING. I can’t believe we are having another baby! We are soooo excited. I’m nervous for my noon. But so so excited.’

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
