Drake Bell ‘splits from wife’ Janet Von Schmeling as Nickelodeon star ‘enters rehab’-Stella Akinwumi-Entertainment – Metro

Drake Bell and his wife Janet Von Schmeling have reportedly separated amid reports the actor is prioritising his health.
In July 2021, the 36-year-old actor took to Twitter and confirmed that had been married for three years after he pleaded guilty to attempted child endangerment in the previous month.
In a statement in Spanish translated to English, the Drake Parker star said: ‘In response to various rumors that are incorrect, I have been married for almost three years, and we are blessed to be the parents of a wonderful son.’
According to recent reports, Bell and Von Schmeling are ‘headed for divorce.’
This comes after the actor was spotted inhaling balloons in his car, while his son was in the back seat.

Bell and Von Schmeling, 29, started dating in 2013 and married in an intimate ceremony in 2018.
In July 2021, the former Nickelodeon star avoided jail after pleading guilty on June 23 to attempted endangering children, a fourth-degree felony, and a misdemeanour charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Bell appeared virtually in a Cleveland court, where he was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service.

Speaking briefly prior to his sentencing, Bell said: ‘I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong. I’m sorry that the victim was harmed in any way, but that was obviously not my intention. I have taken this matter very, very seriously. And again, I just want to apologise to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions.’

Bell is best known for playing Drake Parker in the successful Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh opposite Josh Peck, and also starred in The Amanda Show.
He also has a career in music, with his last albums, The Lost Album and Sesiones En Casa being released last year.
