Euphoric Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch renew wedding vows on Maldives beach with kids-Mel Evans-Entertainment – Metro

After more than 10 years of marriage, Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have renewed their vows, surrounded by their children on a gorgeous beach in the Maldives.

The pair, who married in June 2011 at the Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire, were joined by their kids Sophia, 11, Liberty, seven, Johnny, five, and three-year-old Jack, as well as Abbey’s mum Karen, for an intimate ceremony on the sand.

In a sweet photoshoot for Hello! magazine, the pair looked to be more in love than ever as they kissed, with Abbey wearing a vintage lace dress, made by family friend and dressmaker Sylvia, and a matching veil, as Peter looked sharp in a crisp white shirt and beige trousers.

According to model Abbey, the sweet idea for the sunset ceremony was all down to ‘romantic’ Peter.

She explained: ‘We were going to renew our vows on our 10-year anniversary, but with lockdown, we couldn’t do it… Pete’s quite romantic at heart; he has definitely earned himself brownie points for the next few years.’

Sharing his own loved-up sentiments, Peter said: ‘Abbey looked incredible, and even after 11 years, I still got butterflies when she walked down the aisle. It was a stunning island, but Ab stole the show – I’m a lucky man.’

Abbey and Peter started dating in 2006, announcing their engagement three years later.

They tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in 2011, just months after welcoming their first daughter, Sophia. For the event, Abbey wore a strapless, corseted bridal gown with a tiered fishtail skirt designed by Giles Deacon

Previously speaking about the first time they met at a bar in Liverpool, Abbey told Closer Magazine: ‘I saw Pete and I knew he was the one for me, I knew he’d be my boyfriend.

‘I still think that. I feel so lucky I have a beautiful child and a great husband.’
