I ordered fake collars because I wanted to look professional… it was a flop, I look like one of the Founding fathers

ONLINE shopping can be a hit or a total fail – and unfortunately for one bargain lover, it was the latter.

Looking to replenish her work wardrobe, Brittany, better known to her fans as @lostmymarblesagain on TikTok, decided to order some fake collars she had stumbled across on Amazon.

In her mind, she would be able to pop on this accessory for cute work outfits and look more put-together – but things didn’t go to plan.

Demonstrating just how ill-fitting the collar was, Brittany took to social media to reveal the major fail to her 4.2million followers.

”I bought these fake collars from Amazon so I can wear a sweatshirt and not have to put on a collared shirt under it.

”Girl… This looks stupid as f**k,” she exclaimed posing with a purple sweatshirt and the newly-purchased white accessory.

”I’m so mad! What is this?” the Amazon shopper was in hysterics at how high the collar was sitting.

”Don’t p*ss me off . I can’t even move my f***ing head around.

”It won’t move down cause I’ve got a fat neck!” Brittany was in tears, adding she regretted not having checked the reviews prior the purchase.

Needless to say, the video‘s taken the popular social media platform by storm, racking up a whopping six million views since being posted.

There were thousands of comments, with numerous comparisons between Brittany and famous figures.

Seeing the disaster, one chuckled: ”brittany is the founding father.”

Another was in stitches, writing: ”Brittany in her Hamilton era.”

Meanwhile, whilst someone called her ”butler broski”, a fourth said the collar made her look like a magician.

”It’s like magic mike meets hamilton,” a fellow social media fan added.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time Amazon has let customers down – earlier last year, one shopper was mortified when she saw what had arrived.

Janet Perez, from Ilinois, shared the blunder on TikTok, where the clip has taken the internet by storm, amassing her 8.5 million views.

After scrolling on Amazon to find the perfect grey blanket for her bedroom, Janet found a bargain deal for what she thought would be a large throw.

But what the postman delivered, left her in hysterics, after opening the packaging and realising why the price was so low.

The cosy blanket was significantly smaller in size compared to the advertised image, with some amused viewers pointing out it looks more like a mat.

”WTH am I supposed to cover with that?” Janet was infuriated.

”My foot??”

However, despite the funny shopping fail, many thought she was the one to blame as she hadn’t read the listing properly.

”If you look at the floor in the photo you will see the mat. Soo Your fault,” read one critical comment, whilst a second agreed: ”Sometimes the picture shows everything then you gotta select what you want.

”You must have left it on pillowcase lol.”

One online shopper wrote: ”Hahaha I was gonna buy that but the size it automatically comes in is like 40cm by 80cm or something like that.”

Another shared the same horror story: ”My mom ordered like the same think for my sister for Christmas and we got a baby blanket.”

”I’M DEAD AS HELL,” laughed one viewer, with someone else writing: ”A tea towel.”
