I was dress coded at the club because I didn’t have a top under my blazer… so I went to extreme lengths to get in

IT’S a night when you can go all out with your ensemble and know you certainly won’t be the only one doing so.

But when Brandon decided to wear a suit to the club on New Year’s Eve, he found himself dress coded at the door because he wasn’t wearing a top underneath.

But instead of going home 11 minutes before the New Year, he went to a local shop to get something to make his outfit more acceptabletiktok/@brandonkbye

Not only that, but the fashion reprimand happened just 11 minutes before the clock chimed midnight.

So, instead of being beaten and having to see in 2023 at home, Brandon popped to a local store to buy a black lace bandeau bra.

“POV 11 min before midnight on NYE, the bouncer won’t let you in without a shirt under your blazer but the CVS a block over sells bandeaus,” he wrote over a video on his TikTok page.

In the clip, he was seen putting on the bandeau top before putting his blazer back on and buttoning it up as his female friend helped him.

“I walked away without fighting but everyone in line behind me called him out on double standards,” he captioned the video.

“Did it work?” one person commented on the video.

“It did in fact work,” Brandon replied.

“And you best believe I took it off the second I walked in, unbuttoned the blazer and walked around without a f**k to give.”

Others praised him for making the outfit work, with one writing: “ANOTHERRR SLAYYYYYY.”

“Ngl that outfit looks fire af, gives me damiano from maneskin vibes,” another commented.

“Confidence!” someone else said.

To which Brandon replied: “All that I have to offer.”

“This looks so good! Should’ve been the outfit all along, get it in every colour,” another wrote.

In another video on his TikTok page, Brandon revealed he had gone to that specific club in the hope of finding his crush there.

“When I show up at his new year’s plans because he left his Snap Maps on and I need a midnight kiss,” he wrote.

He captioned his video: “What a coincidence seeing you here!”
