Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt looked like the best of friends as they posed for pictures on the red carpet at the UK premiere of their new film Babylon in London on Thursday night.

The Hollywood stars didn’t let the rain put a damper on their moods as they both beamed with excitement at the premiere event.

Margot, 32, was a leading lady in red as she stepped out in a stunning rouge backless parachute gown for the occasion.

Her co-star and acting icon Brad, 59, wore a dapper chequered dark suit and grey shirt to walk the carpet at the BFI Max in Waterloo.

The pair were all smiles as they greeted each other like old friends and giggled at the star-studded event.

Posing for pictures with fans and waving to the crowd, the duo brought some of LA’s sparkle and shine to the British rainy affair.

Brad was seen joking around while the blonde beauty was posing for her solo photos and proceeded to walk back and forth across the red carpet to wave to her from different angles.

The Troy actor delighted fans as he was one of the only performers to stay put until he had made his way down the entire fan line, chatting and snapping selfies with supporters.

Margot and Brad were on UK soil to promote their latest release together Babylon – a film set in 1920s Hollywood.

The story follows actors as they navigate a move away from silent movies and showcases the decadence and debauchery of the era.

Not the first time the famous names have been lumped together on a script, Margot and Brad acted in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time Hollywood together and in 2015’s the Big Short but never appeared in the same scenes.

So far, reviews and feedback for the highly anticipated fixture have reportedly been underwhelming, grossing just $4.85millon (£3.9m) in its first four days and $13.5m (£11m) to date.

Critics’ response to the Damien Chazelle flick was divided although the latest release picked up five Golden Globe nominations and won best original score for Justin Hurwitz at Tuesday night’s ceremony in Los Angeles.

The star-studded movie also received a SAG nomination for best cast in a motion picture, as well as nine nominations at the Critics Choice Awards – including best picture, directing, and actress.

Babylon is out in UK cinemas on January 20, 2023.
