Married At Frist Sight UK star Jess Potter is trying to flog her wedding dress from the show due to the bad memories that it evokes.
The dental hygienist appeared on the E4 dating series in 2022, where she was matched with stripper Pjay Finch. Sadly, their marriage wasn’t to last, with Jess making it no secret that she wasn’t happy about his choice of career.
So now, she’s selling her ‘fit and flare’ Sophia Tolli wedding dress for £1,000 less than what she bought it for.
Speaking about listing the garment, Jess said: ‘I paid £3,5000 for the dress and at the end of the day, it doesn’t exactly have any good memories.
‘I just feel like the whole wedding and whole show made me feel like I was completely set up for entertainment. Maybe others are keeping their dresses as memories of Married at First Sight. But I didn’t enjoy one second and just want it out of my house.’

Jess is advertising the frock on Facebook, although hasn’t had success in finding a buyer just yet.
‘Mentioning the show in the advert hasn’t bought it loads of attention, people probably think it’s a cursed dress and want to avoid it,’ she admitted.
‘You never know – there might be a fan of Dreamboys and think it’s one step closer to reaching them.’

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: ‘Contributor care and well-being is of paramount importance and we work closely with our production partners to ensure robust contributor care protocols are in place and that appropriate support is available to contributors before, during and well after broadcast, including access to an independent psychologist.’
Jess has found love with a new man since leaving Married At First Sight UK single, and now dreams of having her own princess wedding.

‘I would go for something completely different for my wedding [dress], something a bit more princess-y. I hope it’s soon, I’ve got my fingers crossed for my boyfriend to propose to me this year, I’m manifesting it,’ she said.
Married At First Sight UK is available to stream on All4.
