The BBC’s hit reality show The Apprentice continues tonight, with Sir Alan Sugar looking for yet another professional to enter into business with.
Featuring 18 brand new candidates, season 17 of the show is now underway, with all the would-be apprentices seeking a £250,000 investment from the boss himself.
With Baroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner supervising proceedings, things kicked off last week on the stunning Caribbean Island of Antigua. Both teams were tasked with selling and operating bespoke tours – and one candidate was sent packing from the boardroom.
Tweeting along with the show, Lord Sugar himself commented: ‘On the island of Antigua, I heard they tried to sell tickets to the high commissioner.
‘It’s like trying to sell someone his own home. If anyone knows the island he does.’
However, the competition is far from over, and this week’s challenge will yet again see the candidates pushed to impress and show off their business talents.
So, what time does the show air tonight and what are the candidates up against?
Here is everything you need to know.

If you fancy starring in the show, applications are already being taken for series 18, and Alan Sugar has talked of his ambition to get to an incredible 20 series of the hit show.
What is the next task on The Apprentice?
In tonight’s episode, candidates will face a stark contrast to last week’s tourism assignment.
The 17 remaining candidates will be charged with manufacturing bao buns – an Asian recipe for stuffing wrapped inside a sweet, white dough – to sell to both the public and corporate clients.
However, the episode synopsis warns that “kitchen explosions and a maths meltdown” will lead to a grilling in the boardroom and, as always, one of the candidates will hear Lord Sugar’s infamous catchphrase at the end of the episode – and leave the show for good.
The Apprentice airs Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC One. Catch-up with the series so far on BBC iPlayer.
