On their website, PLT bosses describe them as “simple yet chic flared bottoms”.

They added: “A pair of black flares are sure to be a staple for any dolls wardrobe this season and we are obsessing over this pair.

“Perfect for dressing up or down, why not keep it casual and style this pair these black bottoms with a crop top, blazer and kicks for an effortless everyday ‘fit.”

In the promo image, the model can be seen pairing the flared trousers – noted as being 86cm/34in long – with a crop top .

But after opening her parcel, 5ft 4in Kirsty was stunned to find they came right up to her CHIN.

Posting on TikTok (@kirstyxyoung1988), the 34-year-old said: “I’ve not long opened up my Pretty Little Thing order.

“It’s came and I don’t know who in the f***ing BFG is meant to wear these f***ing trousers that I’ve ordered.

“I’m 5ft 4 and wait until you see these. They’re up to my f***ing chin. Who is going to wear these? Raging.”

Speaking to the Scottish Sun, she added: “The trousers are now in the bin.

“They weren’t from the tall section so they’re supposed to fit regular sized human beings.

“Only person they’re fitting is Lebron James.”

And social media users are loving her hilarious reaction to the fashion fail.

One wrote: “Howling.”

A second added: “Haha I’ve had this problem with their stuff too. All trousers etc are so long on me and I’m 5ft 5. So annoying.”

Meanwhile, a third joked: “That’s a wetsuit.”
