Love Island star Dr Alex George has landed his latest gig in showbiz, a new radio show for Classic FM.
The medic, 31, soared to fame in the 2018 edition of the ITV juggernaut series and was dumped on day 57 with partner Alexandra Cane.
Since his stint on the dating show, which is now presented by Maya Jama, Alex has enjoyed a varied career, including involving himself with mental health campaigns.
The reality star’s latest gig is a brand new positivity series on the classical music station, with the first show launching on Sunday evening.
Across six weeks, Classic FM’s Uplifting Classics with Dr Alex George will feature fifty of the best uplifting classics, including Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from The Planets by Gustav Holst.
As well as tunes, Alex will share fascinating stories behind the featured music and composers and give practical advice and tips on living everyday life in a positive way.

Classic FM’s Uplifting Classics will be the second programme that Alex has hosted on Classic FM, following his popular debut series Inner Harmony last year, which focused on health, well-being and the benefits of listening to and performing classical music.
Alex said: ‘I am so excited to be returning to Classic FM for this brand new series. I listen to classical music every day, and I find it such a positive and uplifting influence on my mood and productivity.
‘I know how difficult January can be for many, and so to be able to share some of the greatest Uplifting Classics every week and help boost the mood of Classic FM’s listeners is a privilege.
