TikTok star Waffler69 has died aged 33.

The viral social media star, real name Taylor Claydorm, had 1.7 million followers on the site with 328 million likes and was known for eating strange and nostalgic foods in his videos beloved by fans around the world.

His brother Clayton Claydorm confirmed the news in a TikTok video, as he told fans: ‘Hey guys. If anyone’s being shared this video from another or if you just don’t know, I am related to Waffler69 – or my brother Taylor.

‘He passed away around 10pm on January 11th, 2023 from a presumed heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital and I wanna say like an hour, an hour and a half later, he passed away.

‘Now this is still pretty new, I don’t what’s gonna he happening in the near future with any of that, but I thought I should get on TikTok and let everybody know.’

He encouraged fans to ‘keep his legacy alive’ by continuing to watch his content.

He added: ‘So please keep his legacy alive, watch his content that he does have out. Keep him alive. He loved making people happy. I will see you guys in the next one, thank you.’

After the star’s death, his brother has set up a GoFundMe page to help their mother with funeral and medical bills, with donations reaching $11,583 of the $13,500 goal.

He wrote: ‘This Gofundme is mainly to help compensate my mother who had to pay for my brother’s cremation. as well as the medical expenses. Anything extra im gonna give to my mom and try to help the grieving process as much as possible. (sic)’

In his final video this week, the social media star was seen eating Big Fruit Loop cereal on top of a Max Keeble’s Big Movie VHS.

Speaking to TMZ, Clayton revealed that Taylor’s father and grandfather both suffered from genetic heart problems.

Tributes have poured out from fans and other TikTok stars, with Blockchain Boy hailing Taylor as an ‘amazing creator and beautiful soul’.

He tweeted: ‘Taylor, aka waffler69 was someone I watched for a long, long time on TikTok and has passed away suddenly according to close family. Damn this one hurts. Lost a good one.’

A fan added: ‘This hurts my friend! Today is a little more dark then normal. I appreciate the smiles you provided for many of us. I’ll miss you buddy.’

Another person wrote: ‘I’m so sad rn crying at work. RIP @wafffler69 your spirit and energy were unmatched and you will be severely missed.’
