The only daughter of singing legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, has died at the age of 54.
On Thursday she was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest and her mother Priscilla Presley later announced her death.
‘It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,’ Priscilla said in a statement.
‘She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.’
It came as a shock to many, as the singer was seen only a few days prior in Beverly Hills attending her late father’s birthday bash and also the Golden Globe Awards, where she supported Austin Butler as he won best actor for his portrayal as Elvis in the recent biopic of the same name.

The American singer-songwriter, who released three albums over the course of her career, married four times throughout her life and had four children; Riley, Benjamin, Harper and Finley.

Who was Lisa Marie Presley married to?
Unsurprisingly, as she grew up in the spotlight, Presley dated many fellow stars.
The singer’s first marriage was in 1988 to musician Danny Keough, who she shared two kids with, Riley and Benjamin, before getting divorced in 1994.
Although the marriage fell apart, the pair remained lifelong friends.

Presley’s second husband was Michael Jackson, who she married in the same year as her divorce.
Although the pair were only married for two years, the relationship was understandably one of her most high-profile romances.
When the news broke they had eloped to the Dominican Republic, many people questioned whether the marriage was a publicity stunt to quell an allegation that Michael had molested a 13-year-old boy, though Presley denied this.
‘How can you fake this 24 hours a day, sleeping with somebody, waking with somebody?’ she said at the time.
‘I’m not going to marry somebody for any reason other than the fact that I fall in love with them.’

Then came Presley’s marriage to actor Nicolas Cage in 2002, which only lasted three months.
The pair met and hit it off when Presley was briefly engaged to singer-songwriter John Oszajca, but it wasn’t meant to be.
‘I’m sad about this, but we shouldn’t have been married in the first place,’ Presley said in a statement at the time, whilst the Con Air actor refused to comment.

The singer’s fourth marriage to American guitarist and producer Michael Lockwood was much more notable, as the pair shared two children together: twins Harper Vivienne Anne and Finley Aaron Love, who are now 14.
After tying the knot in 2006 and having two kids on, Presley filed for divorce ten years later.
What followed was a turbulent custody battle that was only resolved in 2021.
