The Traitors US fans are left utterly perplexed by sudden exit of Amanda Clark: ‘Why did she leave so abruptly?’-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro

Warning: spoilers ahead for The Traitors US.

While most contestants on The Traitors need to worry about being murdered, the sudden exit of a contestant on the US series has left fans scratching their heads.

Hosted by Alan Cumming, the American version of the series launched this week, and has been fast-tracked to our screens by the BBC after British viewers couldn’t get enough of the recent local season.

While the UK version featured everyday people, the US edition of the show stars an array of celebrities, including reality star Brandi Glanville, Below Deck’s Kate Chastain and Olympian Ryan Lochte.

Five episodes into the season, emergency room nurse Amanda Clark suddenly disappeared.

At the end of the episode Alan announced after a roundtable that she had been forced to leave the competition.

‘The Faithful have been dealt another blow,’ he told audiences, following the loss of another Faithful during a banishment.

‘Amanda has had to leave the castle for reasons beyond her control, but the game must go on,’ he said.

However she abruptly disappeared half way through the season (Picture: BBC)

With no further explanation, fans have obviously had lots of questions about the reason why she had bow out.

‘What happened to Amanda?! Why did she leave so abruptly?!,’ one person posted on Twitter.

Amanda, who was a Faithful, responded to a question on her Instagram page about why she had left on Friday, but said it would be revealed in due course.

‘I’ll post about it soon,’ she replied.

The other celebrities taking part in the reality series include The Bachelorette star Arie Luyendyk Jr, Survivor’s Cirie Fields, Big Brother contestant Cody Calafiore and Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan.

Last month, the country seemed to stop when the British version was released, and Traitors fever took over.

While Traitor Wilfred Webster looked like he might be the one to make it to the end and walk away with all of the prize money, he was eventually unmasked in the final moments of the season, which left Faithfuls Aaron Evans, Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski to take home the £120,000 winnings.
