Laura Hamilton has revealed she’d be up for taking part in I’m A Celebrity 2023.

She wouldn’t be the first A Place in the Sun presenter to enter the jungle, with Scarlette Douglas taking part in the show last year.

After her I’m a Celeb stint, Scarlette scored a presenting spot on Good Morning Britain and filled in for Richard Arnold over the Christmas period, appeared on Loose Women and hosted for the National Lottery.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Laura, 40, said of the idea: ‘I am always open to anything. I’m always open to listen to ideas and suggestions that might come my way.’

Of the prospect of joining the reality show, mum-of-two Laura told us: ‘Who knows? I mean, I’m genuinely excited for 2023. I’m excited to see what it brings.

‘That’s what life’s all about. I’m always up for a challenge, wherever that is.’

Laura can currently be seen in all-new episodes of A Place in the Sun and was quick to share her favourite thing about this season of the property show.

‘Do you know why it’s been so good filming the new episodes? The appetite of people buying,’ Laura said excitedly.

‘It’s just amazing, the amount of people that are seriously doing it now and I think it’s like a record of the number of serious buyers that complete on sales.’

Asked whether she thinks the cost of living crisis is stopping people buying abroad, Laura added: ‘I think it’s interesting because people have a lot more freedom to work remotely.

‘So, people are considering buying places abroad that are perhaps cheaper to relocate to and then they can work from there, because their employers give them the freedom and the flexibility.’

The star went on: ‘I mean, it’s not slowing down. I think there’s still a good mix of people that are looking to buy holiday homes and also relocate.

‘For some people, it’s like, “right, well, if it’s expensive to live here, what are our options of selling up and relocating overseas?” So we do have people that are doing that, too.’

It sounds as though 2023’s going to be Laura’s fittest year yet (Picture: Laura Hamilton/Instagram)

As for what Laura’s most looking forward to in 2023, it sounds as though it’s going to be her fittest year yet!

‘I grab every minute of every hour of every day and just think, “right let’s do as much as possible,”’ she said of her approach to the year ahead.

‘I love fitness and I’ve not been able to do too much of it because the house [that she’s currently renovating] has been such a big thing to do.

‘But now I’m getting back into it again. And it just reminded me of how important it is for your mental health to get up in the morning and get your exercise in and then feel like, “I’m set for the day, and I can achieve anything”.’

All-new episodes of A Place in the Sun are currently showing at 3pm on Channel 4
