Amanda Bynes is set to attend a convention with her former All That co-stars in what will be her first public appearance since her conservatorship finished.

Beginning her career on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series, Bynes appeared on the show from 1996-2000.

In it she was the face of the Ask Ashley sketch, where she played a young girl who offered advice from her bedroom on a TV series.

Although she appeared sweet and friendly, when she finished reading letters sent in by clueless viewers, Ashley would go on a tirade against the letter’s author.

Now, 20 years after leaving the show, Amanda will be attending ‘90s Con at the Connecticut Convention Center in March alongside her former co-stars, including Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli, and Lori Beth Denberg.

The event will also mark the first time Amanda, 36, has appeared at a public event since her nine-year-long conservatorship officially came to an end in March last year.

‘I’m really excited to reunite with my castmates and meet the fans,’ she said in a statement.

Amanda had been under the ruling for nine years, with the order first put in place following a series of mental health and substance abuse issues.

In a statement to People at the time, Amanda thanked fans ‘for their love and well wishes during this time’.

‘I would also like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their support over the last nine years,’ she said.

‘In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.’

At the convention fans can attend a panel featuring Bynes and her former co-stars, participate in a meet-and-greet, and take photos with the cast.
