Jeremy Renner reveals he broke more than 30 bones in snow plough accident as he thanks fans for support-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Jeremy Renner has shared more details about the extent of the injuries he suffered after a snow plough accident, revealing he had broken more than 30 bones.
The Hawkeye star, 52, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he was accidentally run over by his own six-tonne ploughing machine while trying to help a family member on New Year’s Day.
The Hurt Locker actor was ‘crushed’ by the vehicle and had been recovering at the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, before returning home after two weeks.
Renner has been sharing updates with his followers throughout his recovery, including being wheeled into a scanning room and thanking ICU staff for ‘beginning this journey.’
In his latest post, published on Instagram on Saturday, The Mayor of Kingstown actor shared a photo of himself receiving treatment while lying in a hospital bed.
He wrote: ‘Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new year…. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love ❤️.

Earlier this week, Jeremy shared to his Instagram story on Monday showed a high wall of snow, with the top of a house and snow-tipped trees peeking out.
‘Missing my happy place,’ the 28 Weeks Later actor wrote.
In a later post, he warned those living in the area to ‘be safe out there’ amid the extreme weather conditions.

Renner captioned another picture on his Instagram story: ‘It’s a rough ride over the pass. Be safe out there Reno/Tahoe.’
The incident took place at the start of January, near the Mount Rose Highway, which links Lake Tahoe and south Reno as it straddles the Nevada-California border.

Immediately after the incident, Renner posted a picture of himself from his hospital bed, thanking fans for their support, but saying he was “too messed up to type”.
Scores of famous faces, including his Marvel co-stars, praised the actor for his bravery and sent well wishes in the aftermath.
