Katie Price has been trying to take the positives from going bankrupt.

The former glamour model, 44, was declared bankrupt in 2019 after failing to pay her debts.

Initially, she was supposed to pay £12,000 in debt off every month for four years to her creditors after taking out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) last year.

However, she failed to do so.

As a result, Katie managed to avoid going to jail over the failed repayments – worth £3.2million – after reportedly agreeing to a last-minute deal.

But, she’s staying strong, as shown in her first TV interview in two years with Mark Dolan on GB News.

Quizzing her about her money woes, he began: ‘You’ve had your ups and downs money-wise. Some people have said you were worth £60million, is that true and have you still got it?’

‘I never discuss money,’ a defiant Katie replied.

But, she did have some words of advice for anyone else also facing financial troubles.

‘Anyone who’s out there in a bankruptcy, it’s not the end of the world,’ she encouraged.

‘Lots of people go into bankruptcies and I think it’s quite good that I’m in a bankruptcy, actually.

‘It’s made me re-value things and put things straight so I’m happy. Everything in my life is in place. Never be embarrassed about being in a bankruptcy at all.’

The reality star also insisted she is ‘not money-orientated’, despite loving to buy pink cars – although she is currently banned from driving.

She added with a laugh: ‘All I know is, don’t have fights with people because the lawyers are the ones that get the money!’

Long-time pal Mark then asked: ‘Do you feel that you can rebuild so you and your family have what you need in the years to come? Do you feel like you can recover?’

And it’s safe to say Katie had a very confident reply.

‘Do you know what, Mark? I don’t think, I know, and I am,’ she said.

Adding that she’s doing a theatre tour come summer, the mum-of-five detailed her other ‘comeback’ plans after a turbulent few years.

‘What I want from the future is I definitely want to make a comeback and prove to people, because I’ve been there, told my story… literally, I hit rock bottom that bad that I tried to take my life,’ she confessed.

‘I’ve come up from that and, remember, nothing is that bad. You can do it, if I can do it, you can do it.’

On her future business ventures, she shared: ‘I’m gonna bring my perfumes out, make-up, underwear, swimwear, calendars, everything I used to do.

‘And the difference this time is I’m doing it myself I haven’t got a manager.’

The I’m A Celebrity star even teased a slot on GB News, saying she could have a TV show alongside Mark one day.

Well, they do say never underestimate the Pricey…
