Love Island spoilers have revealed that Ron Hall is in total disbelief after Lana Jenkins tells him who her famous ex-boyfriend is in scenes due to air on Monday night.

While a preview clip for tonight’s instalment has already teased an explosive showdown between Olivia Hawkins and Zara Lackenby-Brown, viewers are also going to be served a casual celebrity name-drop.

Although Ron’s head has been swivelling all over the place, Lana and Ron’s romance has certainly been spicing up in recent days, with the pair having their first proper snog on Friday.

In upcoming scenes, however, Ron is set to be mindblown after Lana drops the clanger that she’s previously been in a relationship with a famous face.

After the islanders play a group game, the financial advisor, 25, is keen to know which celebrity Lana has dated as he asks her: ‘The actor, who was that?’

Spilling the beans with a giggle, Lana replies: ‘It’s my ex-boyfriend… he’s called Owen Warner.’

Clearly shocked by what he’s hearing, Ron exclaims: ‘So basically I’m competing with someone who’s just come runner-up on a massive show and who’s an actor and I work in finance, yeah, erm, sick. This is great.’

And his reaction doesn’t seem to die down either, as in the Beach Hut he adds: ‘That was a shock, I don’t really know what to think about it…’

It was previously reported that make-up artist Lana, 25, had a brief relationship with Owen in 2020 following his split from fellow Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies.

At the time, the islander confirmed her romance with Owen on social media with the pair posting a loved up photo of them to Instagram that June.

According to reports, Lana found love with Owen after being introduced by mutual friends when she worked on CBBC’s So Awkward.

However, their love did not last, and they went their separate ways after a couple of months.

Lana remained tight-lipped over her claim to fame when asked by ITV2.

Instead, she shared that she appeared in an episode of TV comedy Benidorm when she was six years old and living in Spain, while adding that her job as a beautician has her face-to-face with celebs too.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
