Hold onto your hats Winter Love Island fans – Casa Amor is on the horizon.

The villa’s name may translate to ‘House of Love’, but the annual feature arguably provides the most drama and heartbreak in the entire Love Island series.

Casa Amor always introduces plenty of new bombshells and endless amounts of temptation for the contestants.

It’s sure to shake things up, as producers split the girls and boys into two villas and tempt both groups away from their current romances with a whole new set of potential love interests.

Word is that big twists mean Casa Amor promises even more drama in Winter Love Island 2023!

So far the series has got off to a cracking start, with Tanya Manhenga cringily dodging Shaq’s kiss, Zara Lackenby-Brown choosing Olivia Hawkins ia the most two-faced person in the villa, loved-up Ron Hall suddenly captivated by Zara, bombshell Tom Clare snogging three girls, and almost everyone wanting to couple up with hot teacher Kai Fagan.

Bring it on!

When could Casa Amor start?

ITV is keeping tight-lipped and hasn’t confirmed it yet, but sources said that this time the rival villa will be so close to the main one that the islanders can hear what’s going on.

Usually, they find out through a postcard. Or their imaginations run wild. This time, they’ll know. Oh dear.

The source told The Sun it could be a case of ‘having trouble with their neighbours’.

Given that we’ve already seen a heated clash between Shaq Muhammed and Haris Namani, Casa Amor is set to up the tension even more.

How long does Casa Amor last?

Casa Amor goes on for around three to four days, just long enough for heads to be turned and for the infamous postcard to be sent to the main villa.

Contestants are then asked whether they want to stick with their original partner, or couple up with one of the new singletons.

Casa Amor has been responsible for some of the biggest breakups in Love Island history including the temporary split of 2021’s winners, Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

Last summer it triggered an unforgettable X-rated spat between Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri after he cracked on with Coco Lodge.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store!
