Matt Hancock was paid a huge sum of money to swap Westminster for the Australian jungle, it has been revealed.
The MP appeared on the 2022 edition of the juggernaut series, where he reached third place, with Jill Scott being crowned Queen of the Jungle.
However, his stint on the program attracted widespread criticism, particularly for leaving his constituents during the cost-of-living crisis to appear on telly.

And Hancock was paid handsomely for his time on I’m A Celerity, with the government’s The Register of Members’ Financial Interests unveiling the pay cheque he took home.
The document reveals Lifted Entertainment, the producers of the show, paid him a whooping £320,000.
