Pamela Anderson has defended Tim Allen after alleging that he showed her his genitals while on the set of Home Improvement.

The Baywatch actress, 55, starred opposite the Toy Story actor on the sitcom when she was 23, playing Lisa the Tool Girl.

In the pages of her upcoming memoir, obtained by Variety, she claimed that her castmate – who was 37 years old at the time – ‘opened up his robe’ while ‘completely naked’ and flashed her.

After Allen hit back at the allegations and responded that it ‘never happened’, she said she was sure he had ‘no bad intentions’.

‘I’m not a very judgmental person,’ she told the publication in a candid interview, before adding over text message: ‘Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he had no bad intentions.

‘Times have changed, though. I doubt anyone would try that post #MeToo. It’s a new world.’

Anderson discussed the alleged incident in the pages of her upcoming memoir, Love, Pamela – which is out on shelves on Tuesday.

‘On the first day of filming [Home Improvement], I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe,’ she reportedly wrote. ‘He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath.

‘He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked.

Allen then allegedly told her, ‘Now we’re even,’ causing her to ‘laugh uncomfortably’.

Anderson’s claims were quickly denied by the actor, who told the outlet in a statement: ‘No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.’

The former Playboy model took a lengthy walk down memory lane for her memoir – which explores everything from her relationship with Tommy Lee to her Hollywood career.

During an appearance on the Howard Stern show, she shed light on the impact that this had on her, explaining that she gained almost two stone while putting pen to paper.

‘I went through kind of a crazy time writing the book. I put on like 25 pounds [1.7 stone],’ she shared.

‘I look back at it and I see how it was the “book process” […] it was crazy! I had a physical reaction to telling my story. It was almost like I was hanging on to something – it was protective. My puffy suit of armor.

‘I don’t know what it was – I was thinking it was some kind of protection. It wasn’t like I was eating any different, I’m vegan, I eat nuts and berries, you know, I don’t eat a lot. But my body was changing!’
