The Traitors US runner-up Quentin Jiles has revealed he didn’t speak to winner Cirie Fields after filming ended, until she had apologised and he had watched the show.
Unlike the UK version which saw Claudia Winkleman put 22 contestants through their paces, the Alan Cumming’s American The Traitors mixed a bunch of celebrities up with normal people in the Scottish castle, which prompted even more suspicions and paranoia.
Quentin, 32, and fellow Faithful Andie Vanacore, 30, managed to make it to the very end, after banishing Traitors Christian de la Torre and Big Brother star Cody Calafiore.
However, they didn’t realise there was one more Traitor still in their midst, with Survivor star Cirie ultimately walking away with the £250,000 prize fund.
And after the epic betrayal, Quentin admitted he needed some time to ‘process’ and didn’t actually speak to Cirie.
In an exclusive chat with Metro.co.uk, he said: ‘I did not talk to Cirie after the show, because I was upset.

‘I think we talked maybe two weeks later, she apologised and then that was kind of it.
‘It took me a minute to get to my forgiveness, I had to go through my own process.’
The political analyst continued: ‘Yes it’s a game, but we are still humans and real people who really wanted the money right.
‘But I reached out to her when the show aired and I watched it all, and I was actually quite impressed.’

Watching Cirie’s secret conversations with the other Traitors seemed to change Quentin’s perspective.
‘How she pushed the other Traitors around when they were meeting,’ he said.
‘I was like, “You know what, respect”. It kind of made it like, okay, so I wasn’t the only one that was bamboozled’.

Quentin elsewhere admitted he’s still close with many of the other cast members, despite big blow-ups in the castle.
Speaking about the moment in which he found out Cirie had betrayed them, Quentin added: ‘It was hurtful, yeah it was still a game but that part was hurtful to me’.
The Traitors US is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
