Who are the comedians and impressionists behind the famous faces in Deep Fake Neighbour Wars?-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro

Celebrities including Harry Kane, Nicki Minaj, Kim Kardashian, Connor McGregor and Idris Elba have gotten the deep fake treatment (Picture: ITV)

A world-first television show that uses deep fake technology to create disputes between celebrities including Beyonce and Billie Eilish has hit our screens.

Created by Spencer Jones, the six-part comedy impressions show transforms comedians and impressionists into famous faces, which also include Adele, Kim Kardashian, Olivia Colman and Greta Thunberg.

But instead of living lives of luxuries in the public eye, they are everyday people living in suburbs across the United Kingdom and are each engaged in petty neighbourhood disputes.

Nicki Minaj and Tom Holland are not happy with Mark Zuckerberg next door, Harry Kane’s perfect patio is damaged by upstairs neighbour Stormzy, and Dental Hygienist Billie clashes with neighbour Beyonce when she starts working from home.

Meanwhile Ariana Grande is a scaffolder married to florist Conor McGregor and while the pair love a bit of festive cheer keeping their Christmas decorations up throughout the year, it annoys teen mum Greta, who just wants to live a peaceful life with her son Algae.

Each episode of the ITVX series starts with a disclaimer to remind viewers that there is some smoke and mirrors to what they are seeing, while they end with the deep fakes falling away to reveal the people behind them.

But just who are the people who have been tasked with playing some of the most famous people on the planet?

Francine Lewis– Kim Kardashian

Former Britain’s Got Talent star Francine Lewis made it all the way to the final of the 2013 season of the talent show, impressing the judges with her impressions.

Tasked with taking on the role of Kim Kardashian, who is a world away from her real-life home of Calabasas and is instead a bus driver in Catford, in the show she gets into strife with neighbour Idris Elba over their communal garden.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Francine said she thought Kim would find her new circumstances ‘funny’.

‘I think she has a good sense of humour,’ she said.

‘I don’t think there is anything about any of the characters that anyone would be upset by or kick up a fuss,’ she added.

‘I think it has all been written really well.’

Katia Kvinge- Ariana Grande, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Adele, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa…plus many others

Easily the most prolific cast member on the show, Katie Kvinge plays eight celebrities throughout the series.

The Scottish comedian and impressionist performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival between 2009-2019 and regularly writes, performs, and creates comedy content for BBC online with her videos receiving over 20 million views.

She also plays Lorraine Kelly on the show, with the presenter embracing the portrayal when mentioning Deep Fake Neighbour Wars earlier this week.

‘Andy Murray is my son and Ruth Law is my neighbour…I don’t mind the sound of that,’ she said.

Katia also plays Olivia Colman, Gal Gadot and Greta Thunberg.

Al Foran- Conor McGregor and Mark Wahlberg

Irish comedian Al Foran’s career really took off when his impressions of Conor McGregor went viral and allowed him to pursue his passion full time back in 2015.

So, there was clearly no better choice to take on the boxer, who is a florist married to Ariana Grande in this series.

His first ever TV role, it’s no doubt his already 94,000 strong Instagram fans will continue to grow after this.

Schieffer Bates- Matthew McConaughey

All right all right all right, there isn’t any way one of the most recognisable Hollywood stars most famous quotes wouldn’t be used in this series, so keep an eye out when Schieffer Bates/ Matthew McConaughey appears.

At first glance Matthew may seem to be his usual chilled-out self, but he gets caught up in a feud with Floyd Mayweather and Dua Lipa over a tree.

Amassing over 2.3 million followers and over 700 million views across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, Schieffer Bates’ comedy sketches and pranks have seen him impersonating characters from hit shows such as Peaky Blinders, Gordon Ramsay (Hells Kitchen) and Game of Thrones, an impersonation which even saw him ending up on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Carmen Green- Cardi B and Nicki Minaj

Also in her first-ever TV role, Carmen Green has taken her TikTok impersonations of Cardi B to the small screen.

In the series Cardi is a newlywed living in Devon with her husband Tyson Fury, after chasing a simple life away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Carmen also plays Nicki Minaj, who has shacked up with Tom Holland.

Aurie Styla- Idris Elba

A stand-up comedian and actor from London, Aurie Styla plays Catford resident Idris Elba.

A handyman, barman, mobile phone repairer, car detailer, chef, delivery driver and DJ, Idris had been living peacefully in his flat before Kim Kardashian moved in above.

The garden-proud Idris soon gets wound up after she starts using their communal garden a little too much and things quickly turn toxic when he is unwilling to share.

While Idris wants to live his life in peace away from hordes of people, Aurie makes his living spending it on stage in front of audiences.

His TV credits include Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Don’t Hate The Playaz, and Mo Gilligan’s Black British & Funny documentary, while he’s also the host of The Scene on BBC Radio London.

Luke Kempner- Jake Paul, Andy Murray and Harry Kane

Playing three professional athletes, Luke Kempner had his work cut out for him, but luckily didn’t have to worry too much about beefing up.

The actor, comedian, impressionist and singer may have been impersonating a boxer, tennis player and footballer, but in this world the three men are just going about their days in everyday jobs.

Part of the new Spitting Image cast, Luke has also had his viral sketch videos hit over three million views online, in which he presents ‘Alternative Love Island’ and ‘Alternative Game of Thrones.’

He has also appeared on Murder in Successville, The Imitation Game, The Last Leg, It Takes Two, Celebrity Karaoke Club and Steph’s Packed Lunch.

Tony Lapidus- Mark Zuckerberg and Tyson Fury

Taking on two characters who couldn’t possibly be any more different, Tony Lapidus got to play the founder of Facebook and the professional boxer.

In the series Mark starts crashing his neighbour’s home, meanwhile Tyson gets into strife with Simon Cowell for putting his bin off on the wrong day.

When Tyson’s wife Cardi is called a ‘blow-in’, the ‘hurtful language’ kick starts an ongoing battle that has lasted over a year.

Yiannis Vassilakis – Tom Holland, Tom Hiddleston and Simon Cowell

To say Tom Holland is in love with his wife Cardi B is an understatement.

From donning matching pink tracksuits to wearing a nameplate necklace, he is smitten, but their home life becomes unsettling when Mark Zuckerberg turns up on their sofa.
