Junior Andre has announced he will be appearing at this year’s Camp Bestival after following in his father Peter Andre’s footsteps and segueing into music last year.
The 17-year-old found musical fame in 2022 after his first single Slide shot to the top of the charts within hours of its release, waving to Harry Styles and Lady Gaga as it passed them.
The debut was much anticipated by his fans after the teen teased multiple clips on TikTok prior to Slide’s release, with one clip racking up six million views.
Junior signed a record deal with Columbia Records last August, which he said was a ‘dream come true’.
Taking to Instagram upon the release of his track, Junior wrote to his 522,000 followers: ‘Slide is OUT NOW 👑 Finally the full track is yours and I couldn’t be more gassed!
‘Thank you to everyone who’s been on this journey with me, shown so much love and support and made this all possible. Music video has also just dropped!

‘Run up the link on stories to watch it 👀 Big up @rosie_matheson for directing 🙏 This track is for you guys, who’s ready to vibe all summer?❤️🚀.’
But now Junior, the eldest child of reality star Katie Price, 44, and Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre, 49, has found further success as he announced he will be performing at Camp Bestival music festival this summer.
’I’m gonna be appearing at @campbestivalshropshire this summer. Can’t wait !
Who’s coming?’ wrote the TikTok star on his Instagram page, to which dad Pete replied, ‘Let’s goooo,’ along with three fire emoji.

Recently, Peter also likened Junior to his younger self while reminiscing with Allison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning in celebration of his 30 years as a musician.
He said: ‘Dermot O’Leary‘’Do you know what, it’s mad, when you showed that clip with me – I was just going to say Junior – I thought, it literally reminded me of Junior.’
When Junior’s single was first released, Peter couldn’t be more excited as he took to Instagram to promote Slide before he posted a picture of the pair and captioned it: ‘What a day today son. Super proud.’
Junior clearly looks up to his popstar dad, as he replied: ‘Love you dad.’
