I’m a plus-size Queen and did a Zara haul – it was a total fail, the XL would be better on a size 8 if you ask me

A PLUS-SIZE fashionista has taken to social media to show off her Zara haul.

But the fashion fan, known on TikTok as @lux_island, was not impressed with her new purchases.

A size 18 fashion fan revealed that she did a Zara haul, but was left very disappointed when her parcel arrivedTiktok – @lux_island

The “plus-size Queen” explained that the size XL jumper would be better on a size 8 and it felt like she was wearing her son’s school jumper it was that tightTiktok – @lux_island

The size 18 woman has amassed an impressive 30.9k followers and 125.2k likes on the video sharing platform, where she regularly shares her plus-size shopping hauls.

In one of her recent clips, the woman tried on two lounge sets that she ordered online from Zara.

She shared her video with the caption ‘Oh Zara.. You did it again.’

She said: “I went to Zara, I am a plus-size Queen, I wanted to see what Zara’s XL is actually like on a plus-size body.

“XL should be a plus-size. An extra large should be around the region of an 18 to 20.

“That’s what it should be, but I’m not convinced for Zara.”

She first of all tried on her grey lounge set, but was left very unimpressed.

She added: “How unforgiving are they – you can literally see my leg chunk.

“Wow, my legs look so mental. This is so small.

“Zara, you need to start being more inclusive, what is going on?

“If you’re a size 8-10 this size would be perfect for you – this should be worn very oversized but wow.

“It’s an absolute no from me.

“Let’s try on the black.”

The woman then modelled the black set, which unfortunately was not much better.

She continued: “They fit exactly the same…they are comfortable but they’re too small.

“I got the crew neck jumper to go with.

“I feel like I’m wearing my son’s school jumper now, that’s how tight this is.

“Let me tell you now, look how tight this is, look how short and small this is.

“Horrible. It’s an absolute no.

“Zara, this is a little message from me to you, start being more inclusive, an XL is not an XL.

“Why are girls that are a size 8-10 buying an XL? This is not cool. Sort it out.”

The woman’s video has clearly shocked many, as it has very quickly racked up 23.1k views and almost 500 likes.

Many other plus-size women could sympathise with the woman’s anger and flooded the comments about their frustration at Zara’s sizing.

One person said: “Zara sizes are tiny”

Another added: “Omg that is not an extra large. I’m an 18 I never shop in Zara.”

A third commented: “I’ve got that XL crew neck jumper, I’m a 16. It’s so short I’ve given it to my 15 year old daughter who is a size 6. Looks great on her ”

Whilst someone else noted: “Yeah I have tried to buy from Zara I have given up. There is no way their clothes are fitting 18-20.”
