Woman issues warning after seeing horror 00s trend making a comeback in H&M… and people are absolutely backing her

A WOMAN has taken to TikTok to issue a warning to Gen Z to ‘stay strong’ after spotting a horror naughties trend making a comeback.

Jade, known online as @itsmejadeb, regularly shares entertaining videos with her 57,000 followers.

Jade took to TikTok to share her thoughts on the return of peplum tops and ‘business casual in the club’TikTok/@itsmejadeb

In a new video, she shares her reaction to spotting peplum tops on the H&M website – and claims she’s worried about the return of ‘business casual in the club’.

“Okay, it’s official.

“I just saw my first peplum top on H&M today and I’m afraid business casual in the club is coming back, and I’m going to need Gen Z to listen up and be really wrong, okay?

“I need you guys to be really strong and avoid those big ass chunky belts that we used to wear around our waist with the matching plastic jewellery.

“Avoid those at all costs as you can be better than us. Learn from us.”

Fans loved Jade’s heartfelt plea, with the video gaining more than 321,000 likes and 3.8 million views.

In the comments, the content creator’s followers shared their reactions, with one writing: “NOOOOOO please no my peplum era was so bad.”

Another said: “Bro I never thought a peplum would come back lol.”

A third added: “Peplum tops give me hives, like when everyone loved turquoise for some reason???

Although not all agreed with Jade, with one commenting: “Low key peplum is perfect for my body type so I can’t be mad.”

Someone else put: “Oh honey, business casual has been back for a while now. What do you think all those oversized blazers were???”

She’s not the only one sharing her thoughts on the trends potentially coming back in 2023 – stylist Hannah took to TikTok to share her opinion on the fact that galaxy print might be making a return.

“So this trend has haunted me for many years. It was very popular in the 2010s.

“Here are the pictures for the Menswear 23 Autumn/Winter collection by Dior. If you’re noticing a common denominator here, you would be right in guessing the trend is galaxy print.

She added: “I think maybe it will come to fruition in the form of kind of futuristic styles and celestial styles…instead of just purely galaxy print, at least this is what I’m hoping anyway.”

Hannah’s suggestion attracted plenty of attention online, with the video gaining more than 15,000 likes and 169,000 views.

In the comments, her followers shared their reactions, with one writing: “NO. ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN GALAXY PRINT.”
